You would have to be from another planet to not be able to recognize a Volkswagen bug. One of the most famous cars in history with a very unusual origin in Germany. I’m sure you’ve read the stories of it’s early beginnings.

I enjoy the 60’s era the most. Back when bugs were also works of art, even more so was the Volkswagen van. The bug was so popular there was even a movie made about it in the 60’s also. Herbie.

Anyway when comes time to find the perfect part one of the best places is eBay. With some of the auctions on there you can get vw bug parts that you are looking for and then some. There are times when you can get your part and turn around and sell the other part that came with your auction.

And don’t think there are not people out there looking. One time on a bet I sold a hubcap from a early Dodge Caravan.

After that I was hooked. Also eBay is not the only online auction house these days. There are plenty of sights that cater to vw beetle engine rebuilds. Most with excellent information.

These days all you need is google search and you can find all the information to do almost anything with a vw bug.
